http - Do regular and secure connections always use different ports? -

can server handle both regular tcp connections , tls secure connections single port number? or must make each 1 separately?

i have used each port. , redirected http https if needed.

i can't answer above questions because of lack of foundation. me.

i not sure question is. however, if can server handle http , https 1 call, seem highly unlikely. making single call , call must address particular address , protocol.

you may able send request parameters on server side send request secondary protocol. example, if sending request via http; pass parameters server side code utilize , then, make secondary call https. however, being said, why want use multiple protocols? think best first understand actual need , use case before proceed.

cheers.
